There are two wrong page references for the Chinese/Arab contact chart.

Page 162, second paragraph, 2nd and 3rd line of paragraph. It say to see chart on page 366

The chart is located on page: 334

This error is repeated on page 163 Second Paragraph.

This error was introduced during a last minute format change that considerably reduced the number of pages in the book.

Thanks to Thomas Gibson for pointing this out.

Formatting Error: Page 274, the word Summary should have been below the photo tag instead of above it.

Spelling error on page 379:

But these are my personal conculsions. should have been "conclusions."

We wrestled with the closing sentences many times, and in the end I made a change that included a spelling error. The editor didn't catch it, but several readers have!

Page 224, fourth line down, "Sprenger 1869, page 94" should read "Sprenger, 1969, page 94. A simple typo makes him 100 year's late! Hopefully this will be corrected in the next edition.

This one was pointed out to me by one of the readers. Page 221, 3rd line down. I mention the Valley of Bekka. This error appears several times in the book, and is a result of my enthusiasm getting away from me. The Qur'an refers to the "Valley of Mecca", but Bekka is simply a name, and should be without the word "valley" in front of it. Please forgive me of this error as it appears several times in the book. I will make sure it is corrected in later versions, and I will try and make sure I use the correct term when giving public lectures.
